In the article entitled “Speckle Tracking Echocardiography for Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy: Has the Right Ultrasound Technique Finally Been Found?” (J Am Soc Echocardiog 2010;23:190-4), the word ‘evaluate’ was left out of the following sentence under the heading Advances and Perspectives of Speckle-Tracking Echocardiography:

This technique has also been applied to evaluate the amount of myocardial wasted energy because of LV dyssynchrony,⁶ the magnitude of LV twist at aortic valve closure timing,²⁹ and the LV strain patterns.³⁰
